Welcome to "The 12 Days of Christmas - 2011 Edition" (please take a moment to read this letter, it's important) Dear Friend, You're probably going to see a flurry of Christmas giveaway sites in the next few days and weeks ahead. It's called "The 12 Days of Christmas". Hi, my name is Mark Hendricks (although some people are calling me "The Marketer's Santa" again this year). The 12 Days of Christmas promotions of 2003 and 2004 and 2005 and 2006 and 2007 and 2008 were terrific successes (I took break for 2009 and 2010)...this year it promises to be even bigger and better. It's my own version of "The 12 Days of Christmas" song, and you'll be getting some great gifts from some very sharp people this month. Here's what we are doing this time around, I hope you'll join in the spirit of it all... Over my lifetime, I've noticed how we in the USA give to the needy in foreign countries, and I applaud those programs as very worthwhile to support. I've also seen how there are many, many people right here in the USA that are homeless and needy too. Many times it's because of poor choices they've made. But also in this especially tough economic climate we find ourselves in at the present, there are millions across America (who were working and paying taxes) who now find themselves with their lives turned completely upside down (you may know some people in this situation). For many years, I've always prayed at night that God would bring people into my life that are looking for someone just like me with my talents, of course I'm typically wanting people who would be paying customers and clients for my business. But something happened a short time ago... One morning I got an email letter from out of nowhere, from some guy named Joseph. There was a link to a website that had a video on it. I watched the video and cried. Those of you who know me well, always hear me say that we should listen to those little voices from our subconscious mind and take action on them, it's God's way of speaking to us. I tried denying this was an answer to my prayers to have people come into my life who wanted my help and were a perfect match for my talents. As you can imagine, I was wanting new business. And instead, I got a completely different message... one that really made me feel very uncomfortable. I wrestled with my thoughts and feelings for hours. Then I took my own advice and just picked up the phone and called the sender of that email. I didn't know what I was going to say, but I dialed his number anyway. His voice mail message came on... I left a message telling him what I was feeling and that I'm not sure what I could do, but I knew I was supposed to do something. (...I guess it was one of those "Field of Dreams" moments for me) A day or two later, he called me back... A day or two later, he called me back... we talked for about an hour... then it came to me, I knew how I could help. And I knew how others could help too. So I went to Orlando, met with Joe and visited one of the encampments and saw everything with my own eyes and met people who are living there - I've personally visited their campsites and met with many of the people you will see in the first minute and a half of the first video you will see below. That convinced me... it was time for us to do another "12 Days of Christmas"... but with a very special twist. So here we are... you, me, and all the 12 Days gift contributors. Here's what we're doing... To become one of our 12 Days Gift Contributors this year, I've asked them to make a $50 contribution to a charitable group that is in Orlando, Florida called "Chains Off Ministries". This organization is headed by Joseph Romero, he and his team have been doing some tremendous work in the Orlando area (yes, there is a huge homeless problem right there in the middle of Vacation Land, USA). Don't worry, I'm not going to ask you to contribute $50 - you can relax :-)

Here's how this works... Each 12 Days Gift Contributor will require you to register your name and primary email address to receive the free gift they have contributed to this year's promotion. You may also be offered other things to purchase and you may do so at your own choosing - I've asked the 12 Days Gift Contributors to make sure they make their gift easily available and not make you jump through hoops to get it. Please note that any purchases you make goes to the seller, not the Chains Off Ministries organization. Some sellers have pledged to contribute a portion of their proceeds (above and beyond their $50 previously mentioned) to Chains Off Ministries or to another charity of their choice, I have not required them to do this and I do not follow up to see that they have done it.
